Slovakia bans Islam as state religion
Slovakia has adopted a new law that bars Islam from becoming a state religion. It has joined Hungary, Angola, Samoa. Myanmar which has reservations against Islam, the Muslim religion.
Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico has said “Islam has no place” in the country.
The African nation of Angola was the first country to ban Islam and Muslims. Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos said: “this is the final end of Islamic influence in our country.”
